Custom message for workflow validators
You can now configure a custom validation message for the two existing validators:
All checklist items completed - Validate Checklist Items before Issue Transition | All checklist items completed Validator
All mandatory items completed - Validate Mandatory Items before Issue Transition | Set up a transition validator:
This allows you to provide more context to users when an issue transition is blocked.
Custom statuses per Projects on Global Settings
Custom statuses can now be assigned to specific projects or shared across multiple ones.
We’ve added a new Projects column in the Statuses tab under the Global Settings, where Site Admins can define which projects each status applies to.
No need to create statuses for all projects anymore!
coming soon🔥 We plan to release the ability for Project Administrators to manage custom statuses directly at the project level, providing even more flexibility and control.
Control Checklist position on the issue view per Project
Project Administrators can now control where the checklist appears on the issue view — either in the central panel or the right panel.
A new toggle, “Show checklist on the central panel”, is available in Project Settings → Apps → Smart Checklist.
The checklist will now display only in the selected panel (not both).
Support Request type field in the Advanced template conditions for JSM projects
For Jira Service Management projects, you can now use the Request type field in the Advanced template settings to automatically import a specific checklist template based on the selected request type.
